According to the Daily Express petrol could be reduced by 14p a litre that is 71p off a gallon. Why not scrap fuel duty altogether as this is only on fuel because it is classed as a luxury item, how can petrol be a luxury item? they may as well say that about food.
The modern lifestyle is not designed to be without a car, with out of town shops and supermarkets a lot of town centres are just tourist attractions

Without a car, my oh would be housebound as he cannot get onto public transport and to go to his appointments by taxi would cost more per month than running the car does!
Also we live in a rural area, so for me to pop out for things he needs would mean leaving him for long periods when using public transport or walking.
Our car is not a luxury, it is a necessity. _________________ Today is a gift, that is why they call it the Present.
