the car passed its mot, cost £35, considering last year
the 4x4 cost nearly £500, this was brilliant, so pleased
we traded it in.

update, car is running fine,

Been a horrible day, grey, damp and windy :cry:

I hate gales, our house had 4 trees fall on it back in the 1986 gales, very scary that night was, we even made the local paper..

Had a very depressing day yesterday, went to look at my bungalow and boy was I mad!!!
The front fence and gate had gone, so it is not safe to let Rocky in the garden, the shed had gone and it was a nice, big one!
Inside all the flooring had gone, all the carpets, the laminate floor in the kitchen, the lot!! And it was filthy, obviously hadn't even swept up behind them :twisted:
Nor had they changed the doors, as promised, nor boxed in the meters :twisted:
The lady who looks after tenancies is coming back tomorrow (she forgot 2 of the forms) so she is going to have one very unhappy buuny to deal with!

But today was a new day, so off I went, armed with the cheque book and wandered round B&Q spending money. Back to the bungalow to drop everything off and arrange a few tiles on the kitchen floor to see what they looked like!! Well, more than a few, got a bit carried away, but it does look nice
Then home to arrange my man with a van (my niece's husband) who is coming next weekend to pick up and lay my carpets :lol:  :lol:
