Very sad  I was watching his life on the news - he was such a compassionate, caring, talented & amazing man. A real movie star & yet so grounded.
Here are some of his quotes that demonstrate that:
I try to acknowledge that by giving back something to those to whom luck has been brutal.
Paul Newman Quote - Acknowledging - Giving - Contributing Quotes
But really I think one of the delights in my life is to go to these camps and see the staff members who, I think, are some of are the best part of America, who are who care for people who are less fortunate than they are.
Paul Newman Quote - Delightful - Life - Thinking - American - Caring
People Quotes
I had such a string of good fortune in my life, but these kids have been brutalized by luck and most won't get the chance to turn it around. Those who are most lucky should hold their hands out to those who aren't.
I respect generosity in people, and I respect it in companies too. I don't look at it as philanthropy; I see it as an investment in the community. _________________ Lola |
