At the moment I am adding landscape gardener, which is turning out surprisingly well! :shock: :lol: :lol:

| Bad day yesterday. Had a migraine come on during a visit to a carer. By the time the visit was over I was fit only for bed...feeling a little better this morning, thankfully. |

Hi All
Get Well Soon Charles, sorry to hear that you had a migrane. Overcast and cold over here, got my flu jab done, but got told off by the nurse she said that I should have it done every year! :shock:
I had a lovely walk on the way back looking at the autumn leaves on the trees and ground, it looked beautiful - always makes me feel good to get some fresh air and take a break.

it was quite warm here today, but not overly bright. The leaves are all turning and every where looks beautiful, shame they have to fall and leave the trees all stark and bare :cry:

bt said the problem was we had new fitted carpets :shock:

Hi All
Great to see you over here again Krys, it is very quiet over here at the moment, I have only read Jean's, TerribleTone & Charles' posts so far...you were missed.
I see it's definately 'flu jab season, luckily I got on OK with the jab, just a few sneezes, slight sore throat and pain in the arm, otherwise OK, some of you have suffered - poor things!
Although there is less daylight in autumn, sometimes nature can be breath-taking

Beautiful day here, interpersed with short, sharp showers and the forecast is reasonable for the weekend :lol: :lol:
Don't utility people have the most amazing excuses for why their equipment goesn't work :lol:
Did your flu jab make you feel bad too, Charles? We were all set to have ours a couple of weeks ago, but had to cancel as oh was not well, now everyone is saying it makes you ill :shock: :shock: :cry:

I hate them too, but it's not that bad, what makes me laugh is when the nurse or doctor says just a small ***** :lol: :lol: :lol:
Reminds me of this bloke's joke
About a week ago, I broke my ankle (in three places) and was in the hospital for several days. My first night in the hospital, after having surgery to rejoin my bones with pins and plates and such, I was in a great deal of pain and quite immobile. My nurse for that first night was a very nice 50ish lady with a strong German accent.
At one point in the middle of the night, she came in to give me a shot of morphine. She asked where I would like the shot and I pointed to my right thigh. I slid my blankets down and she lifted my gown.
With my gown raised, she uttered the words, "Okay, small *****," and proceeded with the injection.
I'm still not sure whether her words were meant to warn me of the upcoming pain or as an editorial comment.
